—— The 2019 Mid-Year Work Conference of Chongqing Medical Engineering Institute Successfully Held
On the afternoon of May 22, 2019, Chongqing Medical Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. held its 2019 mid-year work conference. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the 2019 shareholders' meeting and the first meeting of the seventh board of directors, summarized and reviewed the work from January to May 2019, promoted the strategic positioning and development direction of the medical engineering institute in the new era, and discussed the ideas for business development and management improvement.
The meeting was hosted by the company's deputy general manager, Xiao Jinmai, and attended by Chairman and General Manager Zhang Yan, Deputy General Manager Liu Liping, Assistant General Manager Qin Yongmei, as well as company consultants, middle-level cadres, and some key business personnel.
The theme of the meeting was: "Integration, Focus, Change". During the meeting, General Xiao elaborated on the connotation of this theme: "Integration" - integrating and merging with pharmaceutical friends, establishing closer connections; "Focus" - focusing on business according to the strategic plan of pharmaceutical friends, and unified planning; "Change" - changing models, changing business, and changing management.
During the meeting, Liu Liping reported on the company's organizational structure adjustment and departmental division of labor, and announced the promotion and appointment of young cadres such as Fu Xunzhong and Peng Jun. General Xiao presented the company's 2019 mid-year work report, reviewed the work from January to May this year, and deployed the key work for the second half of the year; each platform center and main functional department also reported on recent work priorities and development ideas.
The newly appointed Chairman and General Manager Zhang Yan provided a humble and candid review of the meeting's content and proposed requirements for the positioning and development of the new medical engineering institute from four aspects: 1) Promote the medical engineering institute as one of the "three major research institutes in the country" and work together with pharmaceutical friends for integration, development, and reform; 2) Clarify the relationship between the medical engineering institute and the pharmaceutical factory, focusing on research and development; 3) Expand the breadth and depth of resource sharing between the medical engineering institute and pharmaceutical friends, especially in terms of technical exchanges and training sharing; 4) Employees of the medical engineering institute should maintain a positive, brave, and fighting spirit, while also trusting and nurturing young people to accelerate their growth.
The work goals and priorities for the second half of the year indicate the direction. It is believed that with the support of pharmaceutical friends and the joint efforts of all employees, the medical engineering institute will be able to quickly overcome the difficulties of the transition period and move towards a better future.
