Heartfelt consumption warms Jinxi - Employees of the Medical Engineering Institute actively participate in targeted poverty alleviation work.
In March 2019, in response to the national call for consumption-based poverty alleviation, our company issued the "Consumption with Love, Priceless Kindness - Consumption Poverty Alleviation Initiative." To help employees better understand the platform and products, and to support poverty alleviation work independently, our company organized a promotional event at the "Jinxi Farm" in the Jinxi Town of Qianjiang District on April 2.
Around 2 PM, the person in charge of Jinxi Farm, Ye Shiqi, and others arrived at the Medical Engineering Institute to prepare for the promotional event in the lobby on the first floor of the comprehensive building. Various agricultural products from Jinxi Farm were displayed on-site, such as free-range eggs, spicy peppers, kidney beans, and pickled grass silkworms, showcasing a variety of local specialties. Additionally, a rich selection of tasting products was prepared, including walnut seeds, sweet potato chips, and fermented tofu, and free-range eggs were boiled on-site for everyone to enjoy.
Even before the event officially started, a large number of passing colleagues had already stopped to take a look; by 2:30 PM, thanks to the promotion by the Human Resources and Administration Department, employees were coming and going in a steady stream. After tasting the products, many began to make purchases, with several executives present to show their support, and Liu Liping passionately recommending the products throughout the event.
The event maintained a lively and warm atmosphere, with colleagues showing great enthusiasm for purchases. After about half an hour, the goods prepared by Jinxi Farm were almost sold out, and their staff were amazed by the enthusiasm of the Medical Engineering Institute employees. In fact, even a small gesture from each employee, when combined, creates a warm current, giving those farmers in impoverished areas who work hard from dawn to dusk a bit more hope and a bit more harvest, while also contributing to the country's targeted poverty alleviation efforts.
